Sarah Strom is a classically trained pianist that has studied the piano for over 20 years.  She has taught for over ten years to students of all ages and tries to instill the teachings of her former teachers into the next generation of pianists.  She graduated with a Bachelor in Music, while also acquiring a Bachelor in Biology from George Mason University where she studied with Dr. Linda Apple Monson.  She finds inspiration from composers like Brahms because of his ability to create beautiful melodies upon complex chord progressions.  She also enjoys compositions by Bach, Mozart and Kabalevsky to name a few.  Sarah believes studying Music Theory is the foundation for becoming a great musician.
